Bart Berryessa Station

Meridian Precast provided architectural precast concrete for VTA’s landmark BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension, a 10-mile expansion of the BART system into Santa Clara County that introduced new stations in Milpitas and the Berryessa/North San José area. At the Berryessa/North San José Station, Meridian supplied and installed all the Precast Concrete Stair Treads and Landings throughout the station. Completed as part of the $2.3 billion first phase of the BART Silicon Valley Extension, the project marked the arrival of BART service into Santa Clara County and created major new transit connections serving San José, Milpitas and the greater Silicon Valley region.
